Hannes Egger begins the performance by asking a spectator to assemble a headlight that is still wrapped up. Then he builds a small platform out of wooden boards, which he labels with the inscription “Perform Yourself”. He hands out labelled and numbered instructions to the audience. Then he leaves the stage and asks the visitors one after the other to carry out the short performance (mostly readings) mentioned on their sheet of paper at the improvised podium, illuminated by spotlights.
