Hannes Egger, Invisble Wall, 2020

As part of the project “ONSAEMIRO” of the artist network Nine Dragon Heads Hannes Egger spends ten days exploring the DMZ (demilitarized zone) between North and South Korea.
In response to the many physical and mental barriers in the DMZ, he created an invisible, 5.5-long and 3.25-meter-high wall that intersected the courtyard in front of the exhibition space at the historical elementary school in Suwon. The wall announced by two manifestos could also be perceived physically by sensitive people.
